European Technology Platform 'Food for Life' (ETP F4L)

European Technology Platforms (ETPs) are industry-led, public/private partnerships encouraged by the European Commission to drive innovation and unite stakeholder communities in reaching strategic research objectives of key European industry sectors. The ETP Food for Life was created in 2005 under the auspices of the Confederation of the food and drink Industry of the EU (CIAA). It addresses innovation in the agri-food sector and builds on the engagement of a number of working groups and initiatives. It publishes Strategic Research Agendas and similar documents that address issues of concern to stakeholders in the food chain including consumers.

This page is especially dedicated to the working group on Food Chain Management that deals with issues that require coordination and cooperation along the food value chain including tracking and tracing, transparency, knowledge networks, logistics, etc.
