The Network:

The production of food, the organization of food  supply chains, the communication between agriculture, food production and consumers, the protection of the environment in rural areas, or the organization of regional, national or international trade depend increasingly on electronic information, communication and control.

The Network provides the basis for cooperation among national and international organizations and associations with interest in research and the utilization of information technology in agriculture, food and the environment.
